Utilizing public policy research and strategic communications, Blandin Foundation raises the voices of rural Minnesota to advance equity of race, plae, and class.

We champion the voices, needs, and aspiratoins of rural communities. We shed light on issues, like rural fiscal policy, broadband, and infrastructure, that often go unnoticed, and make the invisible visible, ensuring that the narratives of rural people are heard, deeply understood and effectively acted upon.

Current, accurate data helps rural communities tell their stories to decisionmakers, funders…and each other. Whether sharing data from other sources, or gathering it ourselves, Blandin Foundation seeks to connect communities with statistics and stories with the momentum to shift narratives about rural people and places.
