Nadege Souvenir

Nedege Souvenir at Blandin Foundation officeNadege serves as senior vice president of operations and learning for the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation, a statewide community foundation that serves all of Minnesota. In that role, she oversees its grants administration, human resources, information technology, and learning and evaluation departments. She also leads several key initiatives, including East Metro Pulse, a community vitality survey of life in Dakota, Ramsey and Washington counties, and the Foundation’s annual Facing Race event.

Previously, she was the Foundation’s associate vice president of community impact, focused on team operations, including the transition to an online grant applications, developing the evaluation function, and leading Saint Paul Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation which focused on racial narrative change. Before moving to the philanthropic sector, Nadege was a corporate litigator. She worked at Dorsey & Whitney LLP and Maslon LLP. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in dance from Iowa State University; a Master’s degree in Arts Administration from St. Mary’s University; and a Juris Doctor from Hamline University School of Law.

Nadege is vice chair of the Minnesota Opera board of directors and serves on the Minnesota Compass governance committee. Nadege has also served on the board of Trademark Theater and gala committees for Walker Art Center and Guthrie Theater.
